I think I've settled on this black longsleeved thin wool pullover sweater over gray gabardine trousers and a pair of black Doc Martins dress shoes. I haven't worn trousers in a coon's age.

Alternativey, I could don a white shirt, black tie, black trousers, and gray sport coat.

i actually don't feel so weird just wearing all black, i just can't wear plain colored t-shirts or anything, i feel weird or boring or unlike myself or something. the cut of what i've got on is flattering to me though so it's good, plus it's all black which is a little more subversive than jeans and a solid color shirt i suppose.

Yeah, I'm into black these days. All my Ts are now black or dark blue, plain. All the new shirts I pick out are basically black or dark shades of blue or green.

I've gone 180 degrees on the T-shirts. I can't wear band Ts or with any writing or images on them. I don't know why but they suddenly bother me. I don't feel "sophisticated" in them.

i can't stand feeling sophisticated or too dressed up. i like looking good but there comes a point when really i just want to grab an old ratty sweater and a pair of jeans and my uggs and not give a fuck if anything matches. i feel like i look better like that because it's more comfortable and more like me.

I hear ya. Maybe it's not so much feeling unsophisticated as it is conspicuous, that bothers me about my more colorful Ts. I don't like standing out in that way these days for some reason.

Not a fan of them pants, Cantankerous. But then that doesn't matter (sure doesn't). Nice top though. Nice and snuggly.
