My Dino T-shirt

mangajunky 12.11.2007 07:35 AM

no dinos, no jr., lots of t-shirts from scooter rallies and anime conventions.

screamingskull 12.11.2007 07:41 AM

i own one of those purple dino shirts with the dinosaur on it. i got it in 2005 at the reading festival.

HaydenAsche 12.11.2007 09:02 AM

Dino Jr sucks.

PAULYBEE2656 12.11.2007 09:53 AM

i have a navy one with the skinhead giving the peace sign in front of a large bright green monster.

Savage Clone 12.11.2007 09:55 AM

No, but I was a member of the Communist party in the 1950s.

jennthebenn 12.11.2007 09:58 AM

no, but i still own a sebadoh shirt: that's -98 cool points. compare that
with only 75 lost for a dino rag.

i also own an SY/Sun Ra concert shirt: that's +123 cool points. even
higher than the +96 for a washing machine tee.

if you think i'm serious with this points system: -3,899 cool points.

best rock shirt ever:

Hopefully Fugazifan got the joke. I know they don't make them. The punchline was "buy".

I think the Butthole Surfers donate all the extra proceeds from marking theirs up 300% to the "Help Ian Mackaye make the rent and maintain his cred" fund though.

drrrtyboots 12.11.2007 10:08 PM

I own 7, one for each day of the week. Christmas is great because I always get a new one to replace whichever of the seven has the most wear from being washed.

Cantankerous 12.11.2007 10:11 PM

yes i do

Everyneurotic 12.12.2007 01:38 AM

the back of my hair has MATTED into one huge rats nest of a dread in one spot because i don't wash or comb/brush my hair. i don't do shit to my hair. i haven't combed it or washed it on a regular basis for like six years.

that was a bootleg, but many people think it's an official shirt. when i first got the shirt i thought for the longest time it was one. i read in an interview somewhere that it isn't one.

i don't think the butthole surfers need to donate any money to him. he probably has more money than they do anyway.

fugazifan 12.12.2007 02:38 AM

yeah, i hink ian mackaye is pretty well off.
fugazi alone sold more than 2 million albums. and with almost no expenses of a regular label, he is mostly making money than spending it.
and yeah, the this is not a fugazi shirt is not official.
some guy made fugazi shirts at the beggining of thwe 90s and mackaye asked hm to stop, so he started the
This is not a fugazi T-shirt

funny guy

Onani Nic 12.12.2007 02:42 AM

I don't have one.
As my face is very "16 year old indie kid" I feel the need to own heavy or bad ass bands shirts to look more manly.

Examples:
Void
Electric Wizard
Venom
Dr. Dre
High On Fire
Black Flag
Wolf Eyes
Rolling Stones

I was there betwene the ages of 18 and 22.

Now I ahve close cropped hair, not unkempt at all

Rob Instigator 12.12.2007 11:00 AM

Ian McKaye is as well off as any lower middle classs american. selling records for $10 and doing shows for $5 does not make one rich. dischord does not amke one rich either.

crack

Do you have any articles, mugshots, or anything to prove this? This is kinda f'd up to write about someone. Al just did the soundtrack to one of our new movies, "Wicked Lake" and I know he's a good guy who's totally together and professional. He's about to go on tour too.
