and I love it, and I think english will be the worldwide language of commerce for a long long time, but ina country that supposedly prides itself on self determination it is small minded to think that everyne should be rrequired to speak just one language.

i understand, and kind of agree... what alarms me, is how can all those people who don't speak a word of english pay taxes and stuff? i know many of them have family who do it for them... but many do not...

well, everyone pays sales tax, gasoline tax, etc. the only taxes you have to fill a form out for is income tax and they come in many languages, cuz you can be sure the IRS wants their money! and not only that but most immigrants and "illegal" people would qualify for full refunds like all people that make less than 24 thou or so.

in america you should speak at LEAST english given that it's the language of this country and necessary to successfully communicate with other people. feel free to speak any other language that you want, but you better fucking understand what i'm talking about when i say i want two cheeseburgers, a large fry and a large sprite.
