dammit, looks like i made out good with pepe as my captain today. scored 33pts! that's more than my whole first matchday!!!

Yeah, I did ok with Ronaldo as my captain. The question for me is obviously whether to stick or twist. Gomez is tempting but the Greeks are gonna defend like motherfuckers. Although I really can't see Germany not scoring.

Considering most people would go for Ronaldo for obvious reasons (and he doesn't even complain or dive or talk the referees into booking the oponent), I picked Nani, who did... nothing.

okay so he gets 2 points for 90 minutes, 1 point for clean sheets, and 4 points for 9 recovered balls? or is it 2 for clean sheets & 3 for every 3 balls? and what is "recovered balls" exactly? recovered from where?

when i started playing this game i couldn't figure how defenders could score higher than strikers but it's been the case most of the time... only thing is, i still don't understand how haaa haaa

i was lucky to have khedira in, seemed to be in every play, and cheaper than schweinsteiger, who had a so-so game. i traded "down" so to speak so i could afford good strikers, but he delivered.

and i used to have lahm in my defense, but again, the money, oh, 8 points from him today, yea? cuz hummels got 2 (sorry bertrand!) and i'd add the... do defenders get 6 pts per goal? anyway still i can't believe they got 2 goals against them. fucking horrid. but i guess they gambled on offense. jogi was heard demanding more goals.

This round is not going well, I think I have barely even 15 points.
I picked Nani as captain too (couldn't afford Ronaldette) and he didn't deliver. Then I changed to Gomez and he didn't bring the points either... would've picked someone else if I'd seen he wasn't starting. Maybe Khedira (8 points), but with my luck I'd probably have given it to Neuer instead and still would've ended up wasting the points. Anyway, I'll have to pick another one for tonight. Fabregas might be the most likely, but I don't have time to wait for the team line-ups and a quick look around seems to suggest Torres is playing instead. Aaargh, Casillas then?

pirlo and cassano have chances for scoring or assisting, so they are a good bet. however-- could lescott end up with neg points? i doubt it-- he could even get a clean sheet if he's lucky, yeah? he could even score, conceivably, on a corner kick or somehing. put in all 3? hmmm...

i am a complete ass, i have nelson oliveira in the bench. yes he's very unlikely to play but i could have left him for today and replace them afterwards. the stupid machine did this for me = kill itt.
