mod or rocker?

see you in brighton.

sonicl 09.24.2007 04:38 AM

Not in this weather you won't.

sonicl 09.24.2007 04:57 AM

Mods and rockers in Switzerland? That sounds frightening. Toblerones vs cuckoo clocks.

jon boy 09.24.2007 05:09 AM

that is a reference to neautrality.

sonicl 09.24.2007 05:10 AM

That's way too clever for me.

But I prefer my interpretation.

jon boy 09.24.2007 05:12 AM

you can still eat toblerone.

sonicl 09.24.2007 05:15 AM

Anyway...

I would like to say Mod, but these days if I think Mod I then immediately then think Paul Weller, white socks and burgundy Sta-prest. So if I can narrow it down to 60's Mod, then Mod, 'cos I like their style. Otherwise, I'm a Swiss national. I couldn't bear to be a greasy rocker.

edward_sick 09.24.2007 05:17 AM

im pretty greasy sometimes

but my face and pores dont alway like the grease

niether do the ladies

so i have to take it easy on the grease

pbradley 09.24.2007 05:21 AM

My American blood demands Rock 'N Roll.

edward_sick 09.24.2007 05:24 AM

edward_sick 09.24.2007 05:26 AM

my reputation points decreased by the way
idont know why this happened, id consider myself a pretty nice guy
i try not to talk too much or say anything i dont mean or find annoying

A Thousand Threads 09.24.2007 05:29 AM

I'd say it is regular green, neither thick nor thin, it's just perfect.

You know, the kind of coat you'd like to wear on hot summer days at the seaside.

edward_sick 09.24.2007 05:52 AM

i wouldnt wear a coat in the summer
but it seems cool anyway.
you should post a picture of it

sorry i couldnt make it but you can go back in time and hang out on the beach with sonicl. i might try and dive into the time machine but no doubt half of me will be hanging out when it actually happens and i will end up as some kind of mutant like in a david cornenberg film.

jon boy 09.24.2007 06:34 AM

no beach, chocolate and tickling random people is about the best day i can imagine. followed by the pub perhaps.

sonicl 09.24.2007 06:40 AM

Maybe an ice cream?

jon boy 09.24.2007 08:05 AM

maybe, pushing the boat out there a bit though.

sonicl 09.24.2007 08:17 AM

Okay, a choc ice.

sonicl 09.24.2007 08:25 AM

What about a hamburger with ice cream in it instead of mayonnaise?

jon boy 09.24.2007 08:40 AM

hamburgers and icecream!?! what next garlic and bread!

screamingskull 09.24.2007 08:52 AM

I vote Hippie

Rob Instigator 09.24.2007 09:09 AM

mocker

sonicl 09.24.2007 09:12 AM

I'm confused, Nefeli. Is your wish that you'd visited Bath connected to liking mod fashion?

(EDIT - You've left us for the afternoon, haven't you?)

Toilet & Bowels 09.24.2007 09:22 AM

i'd be a rocker

mangajunky 09.24.2007 11:11 AM

Scooter riding rocker - I guess I'm a mocker.
I ride a Lambretta but I was born and bred in New Jersey where you are issued Frampton Comes Alive and Born to Run when you buy your first pair of Chuck Taylors.

I prefer to listen to Buddy Holly, Screamin Jay Hawkins, and Louis Jordan over the Jam and the Who - although I like them too.

Ska and Reggae are frequent go to's.

I wear Levis and Doc Martins.

I have just as much fun watching 60's French movies as I do watching Arnold blow things up.

My Flight Jacket has rockabilly scooter rally patches.

I post to this board. What does it all mean?

Have fun - forget being pigeonholed.

jon boy 09.25.2007 05:11 AM

bath isnt connected with brighton is it? fuck it lets go to bath anyway. sonicl can lead the way.

sonicl 09.25.2007 05:23 AM

I'm going to Bristol tomorrow. You can probably get a train to Bath from there.

sonicl 09.25.2007 05:28 AM

I never made it to London, I was too tired. I nearly went to visit Pookie instead, but just as I was about to go my girlfriend got home from meeting a friend for lunch and demanded that we go food shopping.

I'm going to Bristol on business. I could do with a holiday, but I'm not sure when I'll find the time.

edward_sick 09.25.2007 05:30 AM

i wish people on this board would text message me.
i want to meet people from this board.

My young lady and I are going to Bath this weekend. We're going to the Fashion Museum, I think. Shall I send you a postcard?
