A lot of work this week end.

And come back to Paris suburbs, to go to the Sebadoh gig on monday evening. I'm exploited. |

I hate to be the one that tells you this, but, Corona is the "official" beer of douchebags. according to our friend who tends bar at a local venue (where I'll be tonite!), different "types" of people order different drinks. example: the heavy metal crowd likes Jaegar-Bombs while rockabillies like whiskey and beer. the douchebags ALL drink Corona! go with Modelo instead! |
corona is fine with lime and salt though
get Dos XX |

I think that's the yuppies and the pseudo-artsy types. d-bags are all about Corona these days. my friend used to order Corona if they didn't have Shiner, but won't now that I've educated him. ----> NEGRA MODELO <----- |
Corona is for 'd-bags', oh yes. Although, obviously, Stella is for cunts.
Not that I'm entirely averse to either, but I'd much rather have an Otter. Mmm. Otter. I'm doing gack-all tonight and then I'm doing about a million things tomorrow. |
maybe this is an american thing???
But here....not drinking carling or stella, makes you very alternative! |

" On Easter Sunday (Saturday midnight) the life-giving Resurrection of our Lord and God and Savior Jesus Christ is celebrated. The people leave the Church in procession, and come to stand in front of the closed doors of the Church. At this point the Resurrection is announced with the gospel reading about the empty tomb (Mark 16, 1-8) which refers to the Angel’s statement: "He is risen; He is not here." The people, breathless with anticipation, wait for the priest to begin the hymn of the Resurrection ‘‘Christ is Risen from the dead; trampling down Death by His death; and bestowing life upon those in the tombs.” From this moment the entire service takes on a joyous atmosphere. At the end of the Liturgy the festive sermon of St. John Chrysostom is read, calling upon the people to: ‘‘Take part in this fair and radiant festival. Let no one be fearful of death,” he continues, “for the death of the Savior has set us free.”
In most parishes, the glorious and joyful Resurrection Liturgy is followed by a breakfast celebration and fellowship: a breaking of the Fast." It is Eastern Orthodox Easter this weekend, the end of the Great Fast, and time to scarf down some chocolate and food with eggs and milk and meat in a feast and celebration of the the salvation of all of the human race. |
Dude, Easter was like three weeks ago. Ha ha ha. Where have you been, man?
|
Quote:
no, you western christians changed the calender in 1583, and thus yr easter celebration four weeks ago was premature. the eastern church follows the old calender, and Easter was today, because of the passover moon, which was last saturday. where have you been? |

not living in a bizarre fantasy world, perhaps? |
I'm still hungover from last night and it is 1 am right now.
|
Quote:
everybody lives in a bizarre fantasy world, life is based upon perception, and nobody has perfect senses, and further we all interpret our reality differently, so there is no reality, it is all fantasy. and further, hundreds of millions of people celebrated this holiday this past weekend, in Asia, Europe, Russia, Africa and the Americas. If we have all made this consensus in solidarity is it really a fantasy to begin with? |
Does the Easter bunny come to you in easetern Orthodox or is it something more bizarre, like a hare?
