Fuck I-Tunes software.
Fuck that fucking ridiculous shit.
that is all. :) |
Dude, say what you will about Jesus, but leave Itunes out of it. Fuck Windows Media, Fuck Winamp, fuck Musicmatch, fuck it all. Itunes, bugs and problems included, is the best I've ever used.
|
Void all apple products and you'll never have that problem.

oh god Josh. I might have to disown you for that one. |
:( I can't help it. Despite what people say, I love my Itunes, mainly for the AAC file format. I mean, come on, 16,008 songs in 60 gigs, with good/great song quality. you can't get that with mp3 or flac.
|
why haven't i converted to AAC? i have 6600 songs in 30 gigs. wtf?1
|
Fuck smashing your files to bits. I like quality.

itunes
|
I've tried to switch from iTunes so many times. But sadly, it seems to be the best media manager out there. There's always some shitty snag I hit in another program that bugs me too much and I crawl back to iTunes half-heartedly.

aac, huh? I never even looked into that. You can condense them that much and they still sound good? Wow. Maybe I oughta start using aac when I rip stuff. I think my PSP will play aac. |
get yourself a mac and it works perfect.
but firefox starts to suck then |

yes, I understand that is the idea, Apple is attempting to do what Microsoft has been doing, ![]() but fuck that. I have spent years avoiding this disaster, but I guess, Judgement Day is inevitable |
I rarely have serious problems with itunes. Right now I think some of my artwork on my Ipod is not showing up but is in my itunes. It happened before and I know how to fix it. I for the most part like itunes.
|
I think my iTunes goes back and randomly deletes album artwork over time.

Nonsense.
|
essentially, it hates on things that don't come from Itunes. it makes it difficult to sort through and organize, as if it smoked more pot than the city planners of Portland, Oregon.

And while we're at it, who would name a street Couch and then have it pronounced differently?

iTunes is really fun to browse thru though (if yr meticulous about tagging yr shit).

That meticulous tagging is whats so frustrating. I've already spent a good four hours on the process.. |
itunes is horrid bloatware with fascistic tendencies.
i use winamp 2.9-- this is before lavasoft was acquired by AOL i believe. i don't like the current versions which have crapped out on me. it's simple, easy, small footprint, what the fuck else do you need. i sort my folders by artist and inside by album, and name them by artist - album - track# - track tile. this is done automatically when ripping with EAC. hence, no need for labels. ok, it's saturday evening, GTFO of the internet. |
iTunes does just fine for me. It's sort of a necessity though, since you can't really use an iPod with anything else. The only beef I have with iTunes is the way it is seemingly missing artwork in it's library for really obvious, classic albums.
|
how come you are not using ubuntu or some rastafari linux distro? should i report you here?
|
I really like my itunes.
the only thing I dislike is its unrelenting honesty policy.. not letting me rip from other people's ipods when they've purchased the item over itunes. oh and maybe some easier visualisation options, because sometimes I like that. probably the only reason I miss winamp a tiny tiny bit sometimes... aside from this, itunes is pretty ace. |
I like iTunes. It's annoying that it doesn't automatically come up with the album artworks, and only the tracks you've downloaded from the iTunes store have art, but I just got rid of all the art.
|
*insert obligatory MediaMonkey love*
|
itunes slows my computer down like mad, i heard of a smaller program that let's you update yr ipod without itunes, i want to find out what it's called and start using it
