This forum bores me. How can I delete my account?

NOOOOOOOOO. You can't delete your account until:

You have seen pictures of me half-naked
You have seen pictures of me cross-dressing
You have seen the Huskers on a Plane trilogy

Its sort of hit a low point lately, I noticed. No new threads, people just reply to the old ones. Same old, same old.

Not that I help it any, neither do you.

Drugs? Basically. I drank so much Toddy today.

Bourbon Toddy recipe
2 oz bourbon whiskey
1 oz water
1/8 oz bitters
1 tsp sugar


Soak one teaspoon or a cube of sugar with bitters in the bottom of a highball glass. Add a few ice cubes, and pour in the whiskey and water. Garnish with a twist of lemon, and serve.

I wonder if there are self help groups for people addicted to posting on these damn things.
Sometimes I want to stop but it's a routine, pretty much all day Monday, everyday after school, Sundays nights. I guess since it's summer I'll get out of it, hardly posted here at all last summer.

Anyways, back on topic... I'm not sure you can delete your account. But if you really don't want to be bothered with it anymore just delete all your thread subscriptions or change the setting so you don't get emails anymore. OR somehow lock yourself out of your account? Yup, that would work.

actually, not spending hours nightly makes me appreciate it more, but my fave thread lately has been the infinite thread one.

The Infinite thread is fun. But fuck, that involes little in the way of communication, sort of a no brainer.

lately, this board is sucking a lot lately, 80% of the threads are jokes and that's boring (no offense to porky, he is a fine man of humour; but when pretty much every thread is a joke, that's not special or funny anymore), and the threads that are for real, most are about bands and they are all "who likes this band" and everyone's "me, i like them, my favorite album is ________" with the odd "they suck" sprinkled around. and people ignore controversial issues ending every chance of discussion with "you are an idiot and you don't know what you are talking about". even the "sonic youth" thread has been kinda slow lately.

as i said, good thing i have some other stuff to occupy my time now.

i guess it's our fault, all of us; we burnt it down the first few months, where do you take it after that?
