How do you want to be thought of?
 

Most of us don't know each other really here. But we feel like we do. After the fun we had with the roast thread, I'm curious (honestly) how do you want the rest of us to see you?

For instance, when Sonic Gail said that I was "too nice" to be roasted... it sort of sucked in a way, but I guess that is how I want to be thought of here.

I'd like it if you all thought I was a nice guy, who was thoughtful, somewhat intelligent and open-minded I guess.

I'd like in life in general, both on and offline.

I want people to think their own thoughts about me.

I could be an asshole, devoid of all emotion, moral, and shame.

I could also be a genuinely nice guy, who is tired of the nice life, and hides in irony behind crude jokes that are so blatantly obviously not something I truly mean that I would hope it would be obvious to thsoe with half a brain.

With all the bonding that's been going on, I wished that I was more included. Sure it's just a message board, but the environment still generates its own unique vibe with its various personalities, one that I've stayed attracted to as long as I've been here. It's not like I really put myself out there or anything though, so it's all good. Hopefully in my own small sidelined way, I contribute to that vibe.

I'm just grateful I have a place like this to casually browse, chat, joke and discover amazing musical talents I hadn't previously heard of.

I try to be pleasant everywhere I go. I bust on people in the name of fun, but I ultimately strive to get along with everyone (live or online). It would genuinely upset me if I ever managed to truly offend someone on here (unless they were a total tool toward me first-hand).

greenmags, altered and viewtif, you guys do not have ridiculously high posts and yet I always look forward to whatever you guys may post man. it's true.

i'd like to be thought of as a guy who keeps to himself. who occasionally says something really funny. then just sort of disappears for awhile (and no one not noticing or caring).

i like this board a lot anyway, so i don't care much. you guys make me laugh and always recommend the best music

Thats one thing I do like about this rep-involved message board. It's just a way to submit a lil personal note of encouragement/acknowledgement without the obligation of return like PMs can be.

Amen to this, I had some kid stand outside the classroom waiting for me to leave because of some shit like this because I said something like "Africans have brains?". It was appropriate to the subject and everyone else laughed, just some people are total dicks that can't zone into sarcasm.

I like to think of my posts as a rare treat for all the good little boys and ghouls of this forum (hence the low post tally).

I want people to see me as someone who says what they think and feel. I don't lie about shit, ever.

I am a genuinely nice person who gives 110% to my students. I like kids alot better than some adults. I hate confrontation, but if I turn bitch on somebody, they probably started the shitstorm.
Do I have better things to do during my summer than to be on this board? Maybe. But I would much rather hang out here with you guys than be anywhere else.
