That's a pub in Bergen (Norway), the currency is not $ nor euros, it's Kr as radarmaker said.
The total is around 2400 euros (a bit more actually) or 3200something dollars, and 66kr for a pint of guinness is a LOW price for Norway. Alcoholic beverages cost A LOT there.

this isn't that impressive, a friend of mine who tends to go a bit wrong when he drinks too much went on a stag do in prague and woke up the next morning to find a bar receipt in his pocket for £3000, last year he did the same in london but for £2000

78 pints between, say, 10/11 rock and roll people doesn't seem like that crazy an amount of alcohol consumption, even if you throw in the shots.

i read somewhere that pregnant women have been holding that myth "dark beer is good for pregnant women" just so they are not completed deprived of booze for 9 months.

my mom used to give me shots of brandy, some doctor told her it'd help me wanna eat more and get stronger. I was devastated when she decided to replace that for some real vitamin formula.

My Mom used to use whiskey for tooth pains. We were supposed to spit it out after swishing. I swallowed my first one at eight years old talk about getting hit by a train.

My grandma taught me how to drink red wine to ease menstrual pain. It works, you have enough of it and you'll be too numb. But I think her point had something to do with blood circulation, again, another excuse to drink.

I'm not that impressed. How many people do you think were there, when you consider road crew, management, friends, etc? If this were a party for 50 people, that wouldn't be all that much booze.

this is what I hate the most. the lower class British and Irish flying out to Prague and Bratislava for their stag parties to get shitfaced for cheap and then get naked in public, harass our women and piss in our fountains. the best way to develop our turism industry, for sure.
