Question: who works in a record shop?

just wondering how many boarders work in a record shop/have something to do with a record shop (beside going there to buy things).
i want paik's live DVD,too,but that's another story.

Toilet & Bowels 09.22.2006 07:28 AM

Pookie 09.22.2006 07:29 AM

I used to work in a record shop.

I now don't work in a record shop.

porkmarras 09.22.2006 07:31 AM

I used to work in a record shop too.Not anymore.

Pookie 09.22.2006 07:33 AM

nicfit is going to be so disappointed with us.

Toilet & Bowels 09.22.2006 07:34 AM

i wouldn't mind working in one again, but only a independant one, no HMVs or Virgins for me, thanks very much.

Pookie 09.22.2006 07:35 AM

And one that paid enough money to live on.

porkmarras 09.22.2006 07:37 AM

Mine was a one-day-a-week job and it paid the minimum wage but then i did it more for the fun of listening to music than the need of cash(wich was rubbish).

Toilet & Bowels 09.22.2006 07:37 AM

indeed, the last one i worked in made quite a bit of money but they payed us all a shit wage.

Those are like working in a supermarket.

Pookie 09.22.2006 07:40 AM

I worked full-time but I was young and had no responsibilties and the discount was really good.

I bought so many records and got some decent freebies.

porkmarras 09.22.2006 07:41 AM

The owner of the shops i used to work for is a miserable, rich bastard who doesn't pay his more knowledgable staff well. And he wears horrid cardigans that smell of cat poo.

Pookie 09.22.2006 07:45 AM

I don't know the shops you're talking about, but I went for an interview with Music & Video Exchange (or whatever they're called now).

That was a tough interview which took the form of a quiz. I reached about round 4 before I dropped out. Really tough questions.

Yeah it's the same shops.I didn't find the test that difficult even though you are right, some of the questions were tough.

Of course.
I'm way more broke now, but also quite a bit more relaxed.

My former employer is a stand-up guy who I still deeply respect, at least.

Toilet & Bowels 09.22.2006 09:26 AM

i can't believe my tax dollars are going to support your indolent lifestyle

soniknirve 09.22.2006 09:38 AM

what were some of the questions on the quiz?
