On the one hand, you probably shouldn't go around winding people up. I know it's harmless, and I don't honestly care, but people have a habit of not having senses of humours about these things. If you were ringing me up at 4 O'clock in the morning for a week, I would probably slit your throat. The ocassional ringing me up and shouting 'pants', I would see the funny side.
On the other hand, if there's anything like a sense of reason in your town, the police should just see it as kids doing what kids do. So long as your not hurting anyone, and there's still hookers and junkies and black people, the police probably won't do anything.
You have police victimisation of ethnic minorities in the States, right?
