ok. it's prove myself time and swallowing my pride minute: last week i invited my black friend to come over and get a half pitbull puppy from my neighbors. needless to say they would not give him one and lied and made up an excuse. i was really embarressed and told him they were racist and did not want to give it away to anyone that was black which was the TRUTH. it made me feel uncomfortable because i do associate with said neighbors and i was paranoid and really hoping he didn't think i was agreeing with such bullshite. agian, i didn't feel the need to prove myself that i was not. he should've taking it at face value. if not, that's his lack of intuition.
that's the way it goes.

From my experience, black folks above all else appreciate honesty from white folks. That is your neighbor, black folks have had racist neighbors before. They also understand being hospitably polite to your neighbors, even if their assholes, because it never helps to shit where you eat err..live. So I'm sure its cool. And if your friend gets all Chris Rock on you, fuck it, he's got the right to be pissed off at some racist dudes not giving him a measly
half pitbull (how in God good's name would any black man in Atlanta possibly be able to flo$$ a half pitbull?). If your friend does get pissed at you for being tolerable to your bigoted or at least quasi-bigoted neighbor, just tell him,
