Perhaps because unless you start getting to know a little more music and you come back with a fresh approach to it, this won't simply turn into the J Mascis Appreciation Society. Read the name of the website and then make up your mind. The Non-Sonics section is always filled with crap, sometimes entertaing, sometimes not. If all your time is spent on it talking about shitting you pants etc and it doesn't get the response that you hoped for, there's always more interesting stuff that youcould chat about like, you know, music and stuff.
