i don't really like the traditional kitchen here, it's all heavy and the idea 'meat is the base of every meal' is way too common. this type of food isn't exactly very popular in restaurants anymore.

... but your right about belgian food... it's like more american than american food.

it's called "steak amercaine," but most americans wouldn't eat it... even though they love red meat, they don't even like it rare, let alone raw.
